I tried to find one other than Sonix and Sonoscan but was unsuccessful,
except for those used primarily in the fuel and oil industries, which do
not work for microelectronics.
Perhaps you can use two vendors and supply references instead of 3
vendors.
The unit I use that I like best is the System 3100. 
As a reference, you can contact Aris Christou at the University of
Maryland. I believe they still have one there.

We are proposing to add an acoustic microscope to our CSP/SMT lab. We
