Hi,

I'd like to probe the forum's opinion on how feasible would be for a CM
to implement laser marking on PCB's for shop floor control. We currently
apply labels by hand, but we are trying to automate the process.

I'm evaluating island solutions (for labels and laser), and in-line
application through printer/feeders for our P&P machines.

Questions:

1.	What would be the arguments for OEM's (customers) to accept our
label, but not laser marking?
2.	Has anyone automated the label application, and can you share
your success story?

Thanks for your anticipated input.
