CTE is just one parameter.  Tg is at least as important.  The resin used
in pc boards as a fairly high TCE, greater than 50ppm/C, as evidenced by
the high TCE in the Z direction of the completed laminate.

I just buy repair stuff from CircuitMedic.  The proper solution will
depend on the kind of damage and its extent.  CircuitMedic offers
comprehensive solutions.  (I am a customer and admirer of their's not an
owner or advertiser).
