Hi Dan,
The material call outs for the 232 and 241 have been replaced by 4203 and 4
but what slash sheets are called out? 6013 will help you with the
reliability but no flex circuit will withstand this many cycles.

Subject: [TN] 20 solder cycles?

Fellow netters. Here is a question that was posed to me this afternoon. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
Dan S.

This circuit board is to be repairable, and as part of this requirement,
certain parts (surface mount resistors, surface and through hole capacitors,
and wires) need to be capable of 20 solder cycles.

The previous design was manufactured to the following IPC standards:
    IPC-6013
    IPC-FC-241
    IPC-FC-232.

My question is, do these standards specify resolderability, or are there
other standards that would specify resolderability?
