The makers of GCpreview offer services to create CAD from Gerbers. We
have found them to be reasonably priced. For 1 or 2 boards I would
contact them. Let them know you only want the part centroid data. It
saves a lot of money of you don't have them enter the net list data.

I have an interesting question (which I will be posting on a couple of

If all I have is gerbers can I make a placement file from them? I don't

a netlist just x - y coordinates... If anyone has been in the position

have tried this it is probably one of you....as I have heard tales of

pretty amazing workarounds just reading the posts here I have high
hopes.
