Many years ago when Honeywell was looking at buying Fairchild 
Semiconductor we nicknamed them Farewell Honeychild but Schlumberger 
got them instead so they were either Fairchburger or Slumbergerchild. 
Then Phillips bought Signetics and they became Siglips which sounded 
a lot better than Philnetics. A little very old NSC humor when I was 
there a few decades ago.
