Dear Wee,

a condition for answer is that you stop using 'Sorry' and 'stupid
question'. We are all on the same level, stupid questions do not exist
and you are probably hiding behind a very good education grade. The
answer on your question depends on a lot. If your machinery is
professionally installed, there should be no problems at all. However,
if the shutdown admits outer atmosphere to fill your cleanrooms
(overpressure stopped), there may be some issues. Also, when the
machinery starts again, there may be pressure bursts or swings that
frees particles and dust to come in circulation. If you plan a stop,
it's just to remove paste jars and patrons, set protection cover on and
take other measures. We have had emergency stops several times and we
have never had any problems of the kind you fear. If you don't open
fridge doors, nothing will happen more than you'll have to take care of
some water and/or defrost. Normally, the materials you mention are not
sensitive to single minus drops or humidity swings.

Subject: [TN] Power Supply Maintenance - Impact

Hello,

Is there a concern to clean room, humidity cupboards and fridge (solder
paste, adhesive, epoxy) during a 24-hr shutdown due to power supply
maintenance?

SORRY for such stupid question.

Thanks and regards,
Wee Mei
