John, of course mechanical engineers are rigid, they work with hardware.
Not like electronic engineers who work with software. Also called
flextronics.

Thin flex attached on aluminum probably would work, but the real
question with this would be how flat can we get it as there is a
reflector that has to sit flush against the pcb and which surrounds each
LED.
At this point, I believe the mechanical design team is pretty rigid, so
flex is out of the question. (Yaaaa It is Friday!)

Won't a thin flex attached on aluminum do the same job? If it must be
cheap, I think Ruwel can use LCP instead. We made some sort of battery
charge/control circuit this way.
