Dear colleagues,

we have implemented a documentation managing system, from Aegis, that creates work instructions, key-cards, raw data for machine programming, etc, etc. One issue is that the system, otherwise very professional and fully loaded, is not so easy to work with when it comes to panelizing the boards. Besides that, for various reasons, we would like to feed to the system upfront panelized CAD files, instead of importing the single design and panelizing it in Aegis.

The question is: is there any software out there that would read, panelize and export output files from as many CAD platforms possible? I am not expecting freebies, so any input would be appreciated.

I'm talking about raw information that is full PCB database in ASCII format, coming from PADS, MENTOR, ALLEGRO... just name it.
