Hi Werner,

Granted soldering is not an electro-chemical process.  Is this a question of 
incorrect nomeclature on my part?

My understanding of the mechanism behind the leaching of silver by tin is that 
it is higher on the electrochemical series and hence tin has an affinity for 
silver.  Hence my use of that term.

Happy to be corrected :)
