Nice and tight connector with mounting holes in a real bad place. We
had to design a .004" FR4 insulator as another drawing and callout and
detail where to place it on our assembly drawing. Funny how the -DTL
spec shows
these holes a mile away from pins 1 and 13 when they're really <.01"
away. Good luck with your effort.

Subject: [TN] 25 Pin Micro-D Connector
Hello Technet:
Perhaps one of you has come across this issue before. We're specifying
the use of a 25 pin Micro-D connector (MIL-DTL-83513/10C), PCB mount.
The connector body has #2-56 inserts, so the mounting hardware (#2
screws) are installed from the solder-side of the PWB into the
connector. The way this connector is designed, the mounting holes are
located .083" from the 2 outer-most PTHs in the center row. The
mounting screw and associated washer will overlap these 2 PTHs on the
solder side. Has anyone used these connectors in the past and what did
you do to prevent the hardware from contacting the PTHs? We're thinking
a spacer to raise the washer/screw up off the board.
