Wasn't that the surgical team that invented jet propulsion?

I suspect the story was apocryphal as the victim would have been 
well-enemaed prior to the operation, leaving no organic matter in the 
colon to anaerobically decompose.

I believe the usual term is enteric emissions even though exitic would 
seem more appropriate!
