Dear everybody,

I am looking for those handy quick lead testing kits, cotton swab that turns red or purple if the lead is there. I find a large variety and a whole lotta suppliers, with prices between 19 and 25$.

I find it very expensive to spend about 20$ for 8 cotton swabs, so maybe the chemists around here can advise on whether I can do something in-house, like buying the chemical substance (sodium sulfide?) only.

Thanks,

Ioan
