Thanks for the suggestions, but none of them worked ....:>(
I'm wondering if the database has too many connections
for the script to handle ? (there are almost 13000 pads on board)
I can extract the netlist from the previous version of the card,
and it had about 11500 pads.
Any other ideas ?
Thanks again,
Andre

You can do a database integrity test using the MODELESS command 'I' and
check if your database has any corruption.
Or, export board ASCII file and import on fresh design file and try the
script.
Many times these two helps and Hope for you too...
Thanks,
Nagaraj.

I have had similar problems with Cadence Allegro, the solution for it
there
was to change the units to mils instead of mm. Also check for features
that are way outside your board outline, and also that the origin didn't
have too much of a negative number to it (basically place the origin in
the
lower left, instead of right side.).
Good luck, hope it at least gives you some ideas.

Hi,
I've been using the IPC-D-356A_Netlist_Extractor4_8.bas
file for some time now with no issues.
However, on the latest board I'm working on, I get a
message "(10062) overflow" and the script aborts.
I'm using Pads2005 Spac2 on a Windows 2000 environment,
but I've tried it on a PC running Windows XP with the same results.
Has anyone else had this problem ?
Does anyone know a work-around ?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Andre Demers, C.I.D.
