Vias in the formal sense of the word -- not just thru-holes...

And yes I agree wholeheartedly that the drilled diameter is the most 
critical dimension -- especially in the case of pressfit connectors
where a 
gas tight joint w/out over stressing the barrel/post is the goal.


However, in the case of pressfit connectors, I beg to differ about
finished 
hole diameter not being needed .  Min hole size is very important in
this 
case.  It determines the point at which insert forces get too high and
bad 
things start to happen (e.g. "Z-ing" in pins to board surface).
