Depends,,, X7R caps should be way far. We say 7MM in our guidelines but 
can't always comply. Orientation is also a factor. Parallel is better than 
perpindicular (to the Vscore. Same caps from different sources can make a 
difference too. 

Our general rule is 3.5MM but again, it's not always possible and doesn't 
always cause a problem when closer.

[TN] Panellization query -- need urgent inputs






Hi,
 
  Need help to know as what is the latest DFM guidelines for the 
spacing of the components from the V-score.
 
    We are using a V-groove for panellization. So, what should be the 
minimum distance of the components from the V-groove so as to avoid 
component damage or cracking during the depanilization using pizza cutter.
