Dear Norman,

By Embedded I meant discreet components that are pick-placed onto an
innerlayer / innerlayer cavities, as Surface Mounted Resistors or other
components. I see more and more of those lately.

Clarification please - by discrete embedded resistors - do you mean
"formed" 
embedded resistors during the inner layer fabrication process, or do  you 
mean "placed" embedded surface mount resistors that are in cavities in the
inner 
layers?
