Hi Dave,
It is quite a bbit more involved than just T260, or T288 or T300 for that
matter. That is one of the reasons I developed the STII-concept, which while
great for an initial selection approach, also does not address all the needed
issues for successful lead-free assembly.
That is why I have developed my White Paper: "Recommendations for PCB FAB
Notes and Specifications in Printed Circuit Board Drawings for SnPb and Lead-Free
Soldering Assemblies, the Qualification of PCB Shops and Activities to Assure
Continued Quality."
