IPC's REACH Webcast Series

April 11 & 18, 2007 - 10:00 am - 11:00 am (US Central Time)

REACH and the Electronics Industry

Wednesday, April 11, 2007 - 10:00 am - 11:00 am (US Central Time)

Presented by: Felise Cooper & Jean-Philippe Brisson, Allen & Overy's
Global Environmental Law Group

This is the first of a two-part webcast series on REACH (Registration,
Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals), the new EU chemicals law
that will go into force on June 1, 2007. REACH requirements mainly
target companies that manufacture chemicals, but REACH does contain
provisions directed towards producers and importers of components and
finished goods, as well as towards companies that merely use chemicals
in the EU on a professional basis.

REACH and the Electronics Industry: Manufacturing, Assembly, Repair and
Servicing Operations in Europe

Wednesday, April 18, 2007 - 10:00 am - 11:00 am (US Central Time)

Presented by: Felise Cooper & Jean-Philippe Brisson, Allen & Overy's
Global Environmental Law Group

This is the second of the two-part webcast series on REACH
(Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals), the new EU
chemicals law that will go into force on June 1, 2007. REACH contains
specific duties for "downstream users" of "substances" and
"preparations," which will cover virtually any company that has
manufacturing, assembly, repair, servicing or similar operations in the
EU.
