CIMBridge was developed at Tektronix to allow exchanging manufacturing
information and data between different manufacturing machines. The group
spun off as Mitron, which was later acquired by GenRad. 
It seems that since then it has been acquired by Teradyne. And since then
Tecomatix got it and they say: "has committed to provide the CIMBridge
installed base with solutions that include the latest in software
development, while guaranteeing a seamless migration path to its
best-in-class assembly technology."
Almost seems like it is a hot potato.
Or are you inquiring about the other CIMBridge?

Does anyone one there know if USG/Tecnomatix is supporting CIMBridge?? I
called the 800 number and spoke to someone in the training department about
getting some program training and she had never heard of CIMBridge, she is
checking but in the mean time does anyone have a clue??
