Ramon,

If you would like a thermoset perform, you could try Emerson & Cuming film adhesives at http://www.emersoncuming.com/prodgeneric.asp?cat_id=3&sub_cat_id=2&prodtype_id=5&region_id=1

If that link does not work for you just go to http://www.emersoncuming.com and click on the film adhesives in the lower right corner.

You can get to the same data info by going to the Ablestik web site at http://www.ablestik.com/c_home.asp?item=Home

To process most of these films it is customary to 'tack' the perform on one part of the assembly at 70-80°C, then mate the other components of the assembly. Many times, the assembly is clamped together during cure.

The film is a B-staged adhesive. It is typically supported by a woven fiberglass mat. Most are tack-free at room temp. At 70-80°C the material softens significantly and even begins to flow somewhat. Final cures are typically in the 125-150°C+ range for the E&C / Ablestik materials. Storage is typically at -40°C. Check out the specific data sheets for what may be best suited for you application.

There are other perform suppliers out there as well, but thought this might get you started.

	Technetters:
Do you know of preform adhesives to bond stiffeners
or heatsinks to PWBs that do not require vacuum bags and bake, but only
bake in an oven with a proven track record?
	Regards,
	Ramon
