Kevin,
IPC 7721 has step by step procedures for doing this type of repair. The instructions are very easy to follow. I have three of my operators that do a lot of board repair using this standard. If you have someone with good soldering skill they should be able to do this with no problems.

If you are looking for a company to do this, Circuitnet Technology in Boston does good work.

Subject: [TN] PWB Rework - Adding traces

Is anyone out there familiar with the process of adding copper traces to
PWB's instead of wire modifications? I am investigating this technique
that creates a copper trace, epoxies it to the board and solders the
terminations to the pad. This is done in place of creating a wire
modification to the board.

Is anyone familiar with this process? Does anyone have experience,
quality data or reliability data associated with it?

Kevin
