Hi,

This is regarding the panellisation of the PCB. I have attached the pic here and if it doesnot come attached with the mail, then pls take a look at Steve's homepage. I am requesting Steve to help me upload it on his homepage.

I am looking for a 2-up panel along the longer edge. The direction of flow is as indicated. The concern here is that the bottom edge of PCB is having a cut-in portion. Need advice as to how can i route the PCB if i just want to have V-groove? Will it be sufficient and reliable as to not have issues during manufacturing? The PCB is still attached to the raiings on the other two ends.

  Or

Do i need to have combination of V-grrove and mouse bites to have the panellisation?

  Or

If i rotate the PCB by 180 degrees, then i can have a linear V-grrove panellisation. But, will this affect the cycle time on the placement by SMT machine as all components would need to be rotated by 180 degrees? Will it have an impact on reflow? Because the other side as shown shaded is not having any component.

Thanks in advance for all your valuable inputs.

  Rgds
  Prashant
