So you are saying that the H is silent...............

Hmmmmmmmmmm it must have got to something where it took the industry 2 - 3+
years to fully understand what was being unleashed on it, and now we are
being corrected on the Acronym pronunciation!!

Maybe we need an initiative which we could perhaps call  the directive for
Correct Repeatable Acronym Pronunciation.

And of course for the sake of common decency we could make the R silent and
pronounce it "CAP"??

I agree.  It more than likely is pronounced ROSS rather than "ROSE"  or
"row-has", as I was once corrected to this point by a Brit working in
the ministry in charge of RoHS in England.

It all in the pronunciation - RoHS is pronounced like rose frequently
although the correct pronunciation is ROSS.  It is like arguing speeding
ticket and moving violation with a cop - both get you the same fine.
