Late reply, it's Tuesday, but I tellya things are up and down. The
winter denies to come here, not one snow flake, but several plus
degrees. January started with four storms! The last one at 40
meters/second. The storm this Sunday knocked down 2 million cubic meters
of trees in the district where I live. Normally, we have lots of snow
and very cold at this time of the year, but instead, the spring flowers
have come up and the first birds from the south are coming already! 

Tantalums...they are banned for new design here. Too many incidents. (In
my opinion, the design guys still don't understand the need of in-series
resistors, tough derating and in-rush current minimizing! But, yes, you
CAN get a batch with unreliable caps )

Well, I did all my grocery shopping yesterday so I could hole-up in my
apartment this weekend to sit out the ice storm we're gonna get here.
The temperature this morning was 65 F. when I got up this morning for
work 5-hours ago, now it's 30 F.. It's supposed to eventually get down
in the teens and we're supposed to get freezing rain starting in a few
hours and lasting until Sunday. I hope we don't lose power...
 
Anyways, one of our test technicians came to me just a little while ago
and told me he got the bejeebers scared out of him this morning. This is

It would have scared me too. Don't know why this happed yet...and yes,
the part was installed correctly.
