Is there anyone on this list able to figure out how to calculate the
Technical EFUP (Technical Life Method) from the recently available China
RoHS EFUP draft standard? What units is the term "Technical Life" in the
equation (I'm assuming years)? Anyway, leaving all terms unitless I
calculate a ridiculously small number using those equations. For
example, using TL=10 & ADWT=0.75 (18hours/day) calculates to 0.037, or
using TL-10 & ADWT=18 calculates an even smaller number.

I'm wondering, is there something wrong with those equations correct or
am I missing something? These equations appear to leave a lot to
interpretation.

All replies/comments are welcome.

Best regards,

Ron Pickard
