I think I'd want to know their reason for changing to 1oz foil. (Is it
just because that's all they have in stock?)
Does your drawing specify the required minimum thickness of the Copper
plating?  If so, you should be OK.

Hi All, I was asked by one of our venders if they can start with 1oz
copper instead of .5oz copper and finish with 1.5oz on external
layers... is this Ok as far as getting proper plating in the barrels of
vias etc...?
