Hi All!

We asked one of our customer today why they didn't have silkscreened
reference designators on their PCB's (there's plenty of room on the
board BTW), and they said they were told by their PCB vendor that it
would outgas?!?? Has anyone ever heard that before? They are downhole
boards BTW...

I've never heard that before. I would think that if you were worried
about the silkscreen outgassing, then you would have the same worry
about the soldermask too...or am I wrong?
