Hello Mike,

Makes one wonder again if such a small reduction (the actual  number is
nearer 0.5%) is worth all of the useless expense  and mind numbing paperwork to
industry and risk to the environment,  especially since there is no evidence of
harm or risk of traditional solders and  the effect of using alternatives, it
appears, may well be worse?

(an exception could be lower temperature, but somewhat more  expensive indium
solders, of course... ;-)

The above is a largely rhetorical question as the  answer will appear obvious
to most reasonable folks.
