It is Monday morning. Too much fun over the weekend. My neurons
are waking up by now. Appreciate the correction. I could say that I was
testing you, if you were awake. But no, it was me that made a mistake.
Put the silly period in the wrong place.

Try this neat little utility programme, best of it's freeware!

http://www.wscope.com/convert.htm

It can convert anything in something else. I really like how many miles
are in a light year = 5.8785e+012 !!!

(also does microns into mils!)

In the meantime, this may help. Someone posted it here months ago, I
printed it out and keep it above my office desk. It has helped me many
times:

1 micron = 1/1000000 of a Meter
        1 micron = 1/1000 of a mm
        1 mil = 1/1000 of in
        1 micro in = 1/1000 of a mill
        1 micro in = 1/1000000 of in
        1 mm = 1/25.4 in = 0.0393 in = 39.3 mils

15 micrometers thickness is almost 600 mils

Hi Ramon,

I believe you meant micro inches. 600 mils would be 0.6 inches

I will be really happy when the US finally drops the English measurement
system. We are the last hold out and the metric system is so much easier
to use.
More logical and much less error prone.

Best,
Joe
