Hi Ramon,
Only at the eutectic composition is the Solidus and the Liquidus the same; at
all other compositions the Liquidus temperature is higher than the Solidus
temperature. For SnPb the Solidus is constant at 183 [except near pure Sn and
pure Pb] and it is the Liquidus that changes from 183 at the eutectic to the MPs
of Sn or Pb, depending in which direction you change the composition.
