I did say best case Werner.............Worst case is what you are
describing.

And If lead free solder joints of the current flavor get into car
electronics I will be riding a bicycle.........

WRONG

GM was forced by NTSHA to recal over 4 million high-end SUVs and trucks
because of windshield wiper controls failing due to solder joint
failures-how would
you like to go 70 mph and all of a sudden your windshield wipers stopped
working.

How about air bags deploying [happened early on] because of electronic
failures while driving down a highway.
