(chuckle)

Courtesy of Yahoo News:

In March, the state Department of Natural Resources had fined EQ $32,000 for
six violations at the plant, including failing to "maintain and operate the
facility to minimize the possibility of a sudden or non-sudden release of
hazardous waste ... which could threaten human health or the environment."
But Doyle cautioned that the violations might not have had anything to do
with the fire. (another chuckle)

"That could range from anything - like a spill of materials that could get
in a storm drain," he said. "It could be completely unrelated to something
like a fire or explosion." End story.

Aside from the stench of smoldering industrial waste, the sweet smell of
lawsuit monies drifts across Apex NC this morning...

That's no "outgassed via"

That's an aerial shot of the local Chemical disposal facility about 5 miles
from my house that blew up last night.

All kinds of interesting chemicals involved.

I'm not worried, all the chems involved were RoHS compliant.

See www.cnn.com for the national story.
Local coverage at www.wral.com .
