Victor,

The problem that you may be having is that the "component" may not look like
one!!

For instance a "capacitor" may actually be just another laminated layer in
the board stack up.

What "components" are you looking for?

Fellow TechNetters:

   Can anyone out there share a cross section photo of am embedded
passive device.
I have cross sectioned several communication cards with supposedly
embedded passive and have not found one yet.
How about a conceptual drawing.
