By all means, act according to your professional and company interests and
responsibilities.  Advocate a repeal of the parts of ROHS you don't like.
It would be great if that happens.

In the mean time, people have to build product under the existing laws and
with those components available in the marketplace.  I can't just tell my
customers not to go lead-free.  They have to and we are doing our best to
help them.
