        Hi Arlene:
        Some are polarized by adding additives to their constitution
that restrict them to charge up one way only. Most are just two
separated plates which will charge up either way.

As a trainer, how would I explain to a manufacturer, in simple terms,
the reason some capacitors have polarity, and some do not.
