IPC/JEDEC International Conference on Lead Free Components and
Assemblies "RoHS Compliance and Beyond" - December 5-7, 2006, in Boston,
MA

 

The industry began the year racing to meet the July 1 deadline for
implementing the EU RoHS legislation. mandating that the majority of
electronic products sold in Europe be lead free. As implementation took
hold, companies began to develop questions and solutions in every area
of the process: stencil design, wave soldering, reliability and
cleaning. 

 

To answer these questions, IPC - Association Connecting Electronics
Industries and JEDEC - the Solid State Technology Association have
