Hi Quintin, IPC LF Listservers,

I saw your message earlier today and realized it was quite good. Saying it
again, you are doing a good process engineering job. I would recommend
everyone do as well as you have done in production. The double and triple
checks are Fantastic. Discipline in Process Engineering is always supreme.

As WE are shooting to beat this 1000ppm target on every joint, and every
non homogeneous structure, have you done any studies to see at the edges of
the conveyor, and the product, what lead concentrations turn up in the
product at the edges.

My thoughts are that in a dual purpose line it is difficult to remove lead
at these low concentrations.

BTW, I don't think anyone in the EU would cite you for non compliance if
you had >1000ppm lead on the edges on a few parts.
