Cheryl,
I understand your question and I don't know of anywhere to find the info you are searching. The issue is keeping the flex "flex" verses rigid-flex. The rigid-flex uses standard PCB soldermask and hence standard footprints. The flex-flex SMT configuration will be -of course- without solder mask. The lands ought to be the same as standard, you will need to clear an oblong hole in the covercoat large enough to compensate for adhesive squeeze out. There are photoimagible covercoats as well, it comes down to the quantity of flex ordered... it will drive pricing. I suggest you discuss this directly with your flex supplier and your EMS... conference call would be ideal.
I get these apps quite a bit -after the fact- mostly on single and double sided flex. Usually it's the addition of a stiffener that seems simple but creates all kinds of hand touch time, driving cost up, up and away... Be careful.
Good luck,
Brad

Subject: [TN] 0201 pad recommendations?
I must have an old IPC-SM-782, but mine only goes down to 0402.
I am about to embark on my first 0201 flex circuit, but might as well have a
pcb version footprint, as well.
Can anyone recommend - or point me to a good site for
pad size/shape/spacing and soldermask opening for pcb
pad size/shape/spacing and coverlay opening for flex
for 0201 capacitors?
Thank you!!!
Sincerely,
