Gee I hope not.  There can only be a patent if the process is unique and
generally to get this to pass the patent office you need to be so
specific the patent is simple to get around.

  I was talking with someone the other day and they mentioned their
company's "Patent Pending Process" in laminating LCP multilayer, the
patent pending part didn't make sense as many companies can press LCP,
Roger's offer's fab guides to the same. I mentioned this and he got
wickedly ticked off.

  Is this "patent pending" statement in the literature just a marketing
gimmick?
