Good morning all,
I have a general question related to component cleanliness, specifically
tape and reeled component going into clean rooms. Is there a specification
and recommended levels for particulates that come from tape and reeled
components going into a clean room environment? Specifically a class 1000
clean room.

One of the standards used in the past was FED-STD-209, but I see that this
was cancelled in 2001 and has been superceded by ISO 14644, which of course
I don't have.

I would be grateful if anyone is willing to share how they specify
cleanliness of tape and reel components going into clean room environments.
This is out of my experience area.. Normally, when I look at component
cleanliness, I am looking at plating residues or other ionics.

Thanks.
