Wayne,

I know this likely violates someones rules of sensitivity, but can you
just place the ball-side of your BGAs into a shallow petrie dish of your
favorite [easy to clean] flux, place it on a hot-plate to bring it up to
its activation temperature, then remove and immediately clean the BGAs
and subsequently use them?

10's of parts - not a problem.  100's of parts - more problematic...
