Try micro sandblast, some name it sandmill. Maybe someone in your
neighbourhood has a small Comco machine. Takes lead oxides in a few
seconds. You have to use finest powder and be careful, so you don't
change ball geometry.

I have some older 90/10 Pb/Sn CBGA parts which show a considerable
amount of oxidation on the balls.  What's the best way to clean them
prior to reflowing them?
