Nearly "any" epoxy seems to match, with some exceptions, namely if the
flex is silicon or Kapton(R). For these silicon based glues or
polyurethanes are better. Before strengthening the flex with glue, have
you listened to service people what they have to say? They use to swear
on glued joints and interfaces when repair is needed.

Subject: [TN] epoxy for flex

I am doing some flex cables for the first time.

I am using Omnetics flex connectors which have pins on both sides.

I am trying to find a good epoxy or material that I can overcoat the
soldered flex circuit connections with to give strength to the ends of
the flex cables. Anyone know a good epoxy (or other material) for this
application

Thanks
John Foster
