I see that Dymax 984-LVUF is a polyurethane. Try Uresolve to dissolve the coating. It works best if the coating is partially cured, so it may or may not work in your case, but worth a try I guess. Mild heating (130-150F) or ultrasonics will produce faster results. Uresolve reacts with specific materials, so look up the data sheet to avoid damaging your fixtures.

left to dry for months. The coating we are trying to remove is Dymax
