<Dave is also correct in stating that any type of mechanical erasure will
potentially contaminate the pwb. I would simply paste up a board, a "worst-
case" board, and verify it solders without a problem. I think you will be
surprised at how well even a heavily-tarnished immersion silver board will
solder. >

BTW I do agree with you, Dave, and George that erasers would add
contaminants that would need to be cleaned prior to soldering.

What do you do if the worst case does not solder well?
Considering failure of this worst case vehicle, what is your process to
remove tarnish before normal soldering for the rest of the lot?
