Following the difficulties some of you experienced with the IPC 1752-1
and IPC 1752-2 forms due to the inadvertent inclusion of a date code, we
have instituted a more robust testing protocol. While it is of course
impossible to detect all errors, we hope to avoid breakdowns like those
experienced on June 1st.
When we ran the recently distributed 1.01 versions of 1752-1 and 1752-2
through the updated testing protocol, we discovered that there is still
an embedded date code. While the 1.01 versions will work for the rest of
2006, we recommend replacing them with v. 1.02 which is now available on
the IPC website at:

I am trying to open the IPC-1752 form so that I can fill it out to
request info, and send it off.
I know that I used to be able to do this, but I no longer seem to have
the ability to edit this document, at all.
The form says you require Adobe reader 7.0.5. I am at 7.0.8. Do you
know if you have to have specifically 7.0.5?
Has anyone else had this problem?
I get some weird error that the original "contained certain rights to
enable special features, but this form has since been changed and the
rights are no longer valid. Please contact the author for the original
version." I am extracting it right from the zip file...
Any info appreciated.
