We truly have become a "throw-away" society.

It pains my "old Yankee thrift" father to buy a calculator for $2.95
have the battery die and find that the replacement battery costs $3.95.

What would happen if we didn't bring out new models every 2 months and
instead brought them out once a year with all the bugs worked out and a
very useful and reliable product?

What happens when we have exhausted the cheap labor in the third world
countries? We will no longer be able to drive the costs down to make the
throw-away products.

Oops... Just fell off my soap box! Back to work.

Phil
