Hi Ioan-

Should be fine unless your insertion equipment requires more slop for
placement. If hand insert, it's fine as is. For older insertion equipment,
we used 1MM holes to comply with machine tolerances.

BR,
-Chris

Hi,

I have a TH cap that has 0.064" diameter pins and 0.089" diameter holes.
Are the holes properly designed?

I have skimmed IPC-2221 and IPC-D-279, but cannot find any formula for
calculating the diameter of the hole from the pin diameter. Where can I
find such formula?

Thanks,

Ioan
