Hi All,
You also need to remember, that IPC-A-610 speaks only to quality, NOT
reliability. Reliability, comes from the presence of both quality and proper
Design-for-Reliability as per IPC-D-279. True, a lot of products get by on
serendipity, but do not count on it.
Also, there is at least one instance where following Class 3 yields a less
reliabile product than the looser class 2 requirements.
